Our stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond. We had a Deluxe Double Room with a balcony overlooking the river that was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for exploring old Kyoto, just a short walk to all the main attractions.
The vehicle noise might be bothersome for light sleepers.

Staying at Alza feels like a culinary dream! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff were super welcoming. Plus, the bathroom? Next-level luxury! Don't miss trying the lovely breakfast delivered to your room.
While I can't think of too many downsides, having a restaurant on-site would be a sweet bonus. The breakfast is nice, but I'd love to enjoy more dining options.
